ISSUE 0 was a search for a feeling. Inspired by São Paulo, heavy, grey colors and constant movement, the project became my way of revisiting home from a distance.
I built it through upcycling my own earlier research, prototypes and materials: reworking existing pieces and leftover fabrics, then pushing them into new shapes. By layering past projects into fresh iterations, I treated the process itself as research: testing how familiar garments could be re-tuned to match a specific atmosphere, until the collection of prototypes started to feel like one coherent world.
